The Legal Aspects of Personal Protection

To truly survive an attack, you must survive 3 times!

• 1st - You must physically survive the attack.

• 3rd - You must survive the potential civil liability.

Learn the Federal, State and Local Laws pertaining to ownership, possession, transportation, storage and defensive use of firearms.

Scenario Based - Force Decision Making

Learn to apply the law to virtual scenarios.

This is the culminating soft skills course which will require the student to make decisions based on virtual scenarios.

The student will be presented with scenarios which could occur

in their daily routine. The student must combine the situational awareness methods taught in our PreFense course and their understanding of the law taught in our Self Defense and the Law course to solve various virtual scenarios.

Through awareness, observation and decision making skills the student will learn to make decisions which will allow them the maximum time and options to Avoid, Mitigate or if necessary to use a reasonable level of force to Defend against a potential threat.

Scope of study includes:

• Use situational awareness and observation skills to identify a potential threat and manage the threat progression.

• Avoid, mitigate and if needed defend against any threat.

• Properly apply the law and make a reasonable force decision based on a personal defense scenario.
