Diesel Fuel Injectors needed to be ultrasonically cleaned using an Ultrasonic bath. Only the tip of the Diesel Injector had to be cleaned, however, the whole injector could not be submersed in the cleaning solution in the bath. Secondly, due to the temperature that the Ultrasonic bath would operate at, along with a long operating time, the cleaning solution would drop over time.
The two attachments made for the Ultrasonic baths would be a modified lid to allow for the Diesel Injectors to fit into, along with a frame that would hold the Diesel Injectors in place.
After some effort, a modified lid with 4 hole cutouts and a frame were created for the Diesel Injectors to be used for the Ultrasonic baths.
With the modified lid and frame, the Diesel Injector could be cleaned to an "As new" state without compromising any other aspects of it.
