Pricing for International Delivery
All items for overseas delivery are posted using a Royal Mail tracked, signed for and insured service. Postage must be paid for, using the add to cart drop down menu, at the same time as the purchase of goods. It may be cheaper to select the weight of all items together when buying more than one item. Don’t forget to include the weight of the packaging from the list. Postage in the UK is already included in the price of the artwork, this is accounted for in the international rates.
Approximate weight of Ceramic artworks and packaging
Each piece is individually handmade so there may be a difference in weight between similar objects, the table below gives a guide to help you calculate the correct cost of postage. Check information on the product page for sizes. Please feel free to contact me if you prefer to order in person by email and are unsure of the correct parcel weight, I can invoice separately via PayPal for any item on the website shop rather than adding it to your cart.
Terms and Conditions
RETURNS: Any commissioned or bespoke item is not eligible for return and as each item is unique none are eligible for an exchange. Please contact me prior to making a return to ensure you are aware of any postage costs you may incur. Items from stock are eligible for returns.
If the artwork was accurately described during the ordering process (in terms of size, materials used, weight, etc.) and the buyer is returning it as a result of 'buyers’ remorse', then the buyer is held responsible for return shipping costs. PayPal offer a 'Return Shipping on us' option which you may want to review before you pay for an order.
If the seller misrepresented the work, either in the photograph or in the description, failed to disclose important information about the work, or if the artwork was damaged as a result of poor packaging, the customer will not be responsible for shipping costs.
All returns should be shipped out by the buyer within seven days after confirming with me by email that the artwork will be returned. The seller recommends returns are posted using insured registered and tracked delivery and cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
DELIVERY: Any goods damaged during transit en route to the buyer are insured and this will be pursued by the seller, please keep all damaged goods and packaging as evidence and take photographs if this occurs and send them to andy.leigh.ceramicsandprint@gmail.com (the Artist) by email on the day received. International delivery should take approximately 5-7days. Please report any delay to the seller. This may take longer in times of international disruption.
REFUNDS: Refunds will be paid within seven days of receipt of the returned item so long as the return has been approved by the seller and it arrives in the original condition with all items intact. Shipping costs will not be refunded unless fault lays with the seller.
CUSTOMS: Please be aware that, in addition to shipping charges, International orders may require you to pay customs fees or taxes determined by the country the artwork is being shipped to. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making a purchase. Some countries do not allow imports of wooden objects, I cannot ship wooden stands or frames if it is a prohibited import.
PAYMENT: Payments should be made in GBP (Great British Pounds), please be aware you may be charged a currency conversion fee by your bank or credit card provider.
SHIPPING: Orders will be shipped as soon as possible after payment has been received by the seller using a tracked, signed for and insured service. The buyer will be emailed to confirm receipt of the money and given any tracking information once the item is shipped. Please contact the seller by email if there is anything you are unsure about prior to placing your order.
