Leaping squirrel decoration

Description

A hand made earthenware, ceramic hanging decoration made from an original drawing carved into Lino and relief printed onto thin slabs of clay. Decorated with a copper slip, oxides, underglazes and a transparent glaze where the dark brown, metallic copper finish magically turns to green. This is a decorative not functional item, some areas are left unglazed and remain porous. It has a makers mark and an individual number on the back.
