Together with Professor Sigmund Kvam from Østfold University College, Norway they prepared and implemented the European Scientific Programme WISSTRANS ("Intensive Programme WISSTRANS, Wissensmanagement und Übersetzungsstrategie beim fachsprachlichen Übersetzen vom Deutschen in kleinere europäische Sprachen"), which deals with knowledge management and the translation process in specialised translation from German into minor European languages.
The WISSTRANS project involved teachers and German-speaking students from five European countries (Denmark, Norway, Latvia, Austria, Greece).
The project was carried out five times (2006, 2008, 2010, 2010, 2013, 2014) at the DFLTI of the Ionian University.
In 2013, the Programme was conducted with new partners from 6 European universities (Norway, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Iceland, and Finland) (6-21 April 2013).
In 2014 the Programme was held at the University of Freiburg, Germany (23 March - 5 April 2014).
WISSTRANS was evaluated as a model European Programme for Norwegian universities by the Committee of Erasmus Intensive Programmes based at the University of Bergen (Norway).
Students who successfully participated in WISSTRANS received 10 ECTS from Østfold University College.
