Adairsville Middle School has continued providing professional development opportunities for all teachers, including STEM-focused training through Bartow County and Northwest Georgia RESA, STEM Walks across the state, and participation in the STEM Academy. Our STEM Certified Cohort created a GADOE Action Plan to determine next steps, and the GADOE Certification Cohort participated in FY25 sessions to support ongoing progress. This year, our collaboration schedule was adjusted to allow math and science teachers to work closely together each week, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary connections across all content areas. In addition, the school has continued strengthening its STEM program by inviting parents, partners, and community members to review project-based learning progress and interdisciplinary instructional practices.
