Spring 2020 - Down the River

2020 is a difficult year, filled with chaos and confusion. I found myself with nothing to do and nowhere to be for a week in May. Small towns in Oregon were trying to recover from the COVID closures and asked that no one visit. It was the perfect time for a single handed adventure over the bar.

I stocked the boat, took water and fuel. Tidied up the cabin. Checked the weather and made for sea.

I'd thought about selling Seven this year. but my week away reawakened my connection to this boat. Not too big to get out for a day sail and not too small to take two weeks away. Seven needs some maintenance and has earned a few upgrades. She is thinking about three weeks down the coast later this summer.
