Although data-based projects are mainly what I'm covering with this site, here is where I'll share a little bit about some of the other hobby related things I'm involved in!
Starting in January 2026, I am a contributing author to the new Stone Horses Blog! For the 30th Anniversary, each month I'm writing 2 articles - one covering their Tribute Series model for that month, and the other on a wider Stone historical topic. The Stone Team will also be contributing to this blog with news & event information posts, so bookmark the page and check back often!
In the weeks following BreyerFest 2021, I restricted myself from all social media (outside of notifications, mostly) in order to avoid spoilers while waiting for the mass shipping! This proved to be a horrible choice for my mental health, and I wouldn't do it again, but it did prompt me to start this blog so I'd have something to do while waiting. I discuss mainly hobby topics, but also how the hobby affects my mental health, at times. You can find the homepage for the blog here.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to design the bracket again this year! Thank you to Heather and Jackie for including me!
March Madness is back! <--- Check out the Mares in Black's March Madness, where we vote (bracket style!) to determine who we think is the most likely to be the Surprise model at BreyerFest this summer! Voting has just gotten under way as of March 6th - There will be new brackets available every couple of days, so follow MIB socials and check back often to add your votes! You can even grab a copy of the pdf or Excel file and keep track of how the voting goes!
