THIS BURNING SENSATION is a clay sculpture that has been burnt with a blowtorch. The burnt paint and clay resembles not only ashes, but also mould, bringing my two practices together to show the physical and mental pain of having vaginismus. The sticker placed on top is the final punch in the gut as not only is this little body physically labelled, it is also the only concrete part of the piece.
