This is the Hydegate House, which was built in Long Sutton, England in 1571 by my 12th great-grandfather, Stephen Terry, as his home. This home is on the British Registry of historic homes as a mostly-intact home from the 16th century.   (Written by my 2nd cousin, Scott Terry)

This is Holy Trinity Church in Dorchester, Dorset, England, where Mary (White) Terry was buried in 1637. She was born in 1570 and was the wife of Reverend John Terry, a well known anti-Catholic writer of the time. In 1827 the church was demolished and rebuilt, converting from the Church of England to Catholic and all the old graves were removed. The final resting places of all the exhumed graves are unknown. (Written by my 2nd cousin, Scott Terry).  Mary (White) Terry was my 11th Great-grandmother!

MY GRANDFATHER, ADOLPH GRAF, WAS BORN IN THE TOWN OF ST. PETER, KANSAS ON JUNE 26, 1913. I BELIEVE HE CAME OUT TO CALIFORNIA SOME TIME DURING THE DUST BOWL YEARS IN THE 1930s. I BELIEVE HE MET HIS FUTURE BRIDE, MY GRANDMOTHER, ZOELLA RUTH TERRY (BORN JUNE 21, 1919) IN SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, WHILE HE WAS RESIDING AT A BOARDINGHOUSE AND WHILE SHE WAS WORKING THERE. ZOELLA ALSO CAME OUT DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION. SHE WAS BORN IN BYRON, OKLAHOMA, AND MOVED DUE TO THE HORRID WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT WERE AFFECTING THE HEALTH OF HER YOUNGEST BROTHER, DONNY O'DELL. ADOLPH AND ZOELLA WOULD MARRY ON OCTOBER 28, 1938. THEY WOULD LIVE OUT "IN THE AVENUES" IN THE SUNSET DISTRICT OF SAN FRANCISCO UNTIL MY GRANDFATHER PASSED AWAY. ADOLPH JOHN GRAF DIED ON FEBRUARY 22, 1978. MY GRANDMOTHER, ZOELLA, CONTINUED TO LIVE IN THAT HOUSE UNTIL A YEAR BEFORE HER DEATH. SHE DIED ON APRIL 18, 2003.
