Giuseppe Alioto

Giuseppe Alioto was the son of Giuseppe Alioto and Stefana Balestrieri Alioto. He was born in 1887 in Sant' Elia, Sicily and he died in 1961 in San Francisco.

Alioto, Anti-trust attorney and former mayor of San Francisco, who was born at 572 Filbert Street). Next to Joseph is Domenica Lazio Alioto, Giuseppe's wife (born at 572 Filbert Street month after arrival from Termini Imerese, Sicilia) and matriarch of the family.
