Project Description:
For this project we had to pair up with another person in our class, I partnered with Genesis since we know each other a little bit from sitting near each other in our Psych 101 class. We then had to pick our own countries of interests and research information, like the language, climate, population, the digital divide, technology usage, etc and create a word document for ourselves and a PowerPoint as a duo. Genesis chose the country Dominican Republic, and I chose the country Poland.
Location Information:
One interesting fact about Poland is that it is not very diverse there, here in the United States you see people are all different shapes and colors while in Poland it is mainly just Poles that live there.
One interesting fact about the Dominican Republic is that they have an internet coverage of 85% and a 90% mobile coverage. Often times countries outside of Canada, the United States and England, etc do not have good internet coverage.

Lessons Learned:
Through this project I gained a lot more knowledge on Poland as well as the Dominican Republic from Genesis's research. I also pushed myself with using word to create a pamphlet style document with pictures, headings, tables and a reference list. Genesis and I worked well together, as we knew each other a little bit from our Psychology class. As well, we both understood we are both busy and have lives outside of this class, with her kids, and my working and other classes that have work to be done and material to be studied, we did not stress each other too much on finishing the work on a set timeline. We collaborated via text messages, we both shared our research and collaborated to complete the PowerPoint.
