Bitmoji Classroom
A Bitmoji Classroom is a virtual classroom that a teacher can make using a cartoon avatar of themself. A Bitmoji Classroom can include links and fun images as well as informative elements. I would use this as a teacher to put a few different links in the same place while making an engaging and interesting looking virtual space. It can be a very useful tool for giving students something interesting to look at while you are trying to give instruction and putting the links in the classroom can make it easy for students to go back and find the necessary links. I created it using a website called Buncee, which gave me many different options of pictures and animations I could put in the classroom. It also has shareable links that give access to the classroom and it can be viewed by anyone with the link.
Classroom Screen
Classroom Screen is a website where a teacher can add widgets to a screen to help advance their lesson activity. There are many different widgets and someone would surely be able to find one for any lesson they may have. Classroom Screen relates to Element 3C, "Engaging Students in Learning." It is great for keeping students engaged with interesting widgets that are also helpful in the classroom. The first widget I used was a name randomizer. It can be used to pick a random student in your class and it eliminates them from the pool after they have already been picked. The second is a timer that can be used to keep track of how long students have been doing an assignment or other activity. The third widget I used is a scoreboard. This could be used to keep score on some kind of game day, perhaps for review or something else. Fourth is an embedded YouTube video. If a teacher finds a good educational video that they like, they can simply add it to the Classroom Screen and it can be played straight from there. The final widget I added was a clock. This could be displayed during a period where students have a test as an easy way to see how much time is left in the period.
