The Duty cycle input field is active if you are calculating a transformer for a DC-DC Converter and you enter the maximum duty cycle. The duty cycle is recommended to take no more than 0.45 (and better 0.42; note that the pause between pulses-dead time-should be longer than the duration of switching the key and diodes) for all types of converters, except FlyBack. For FlyBack, the fill factor is 0.5 and is set automatically.
