On this screen you enter the parameters of the winding. The application allows for one operation of the winding to run multiple identical windings on a ring and one additional winding (auxiliary winding has the same number of turns, how much principal and is wound with the same wire, but the number of wires may differ).
You need to choose the wire. Implemented 2 mode leads:
1) Auto
In this mode, the wire is selected from the list and its parameters already defined. The list can be downloaded with the button Load. When you click Load a list of files with options wires. At the top of the list are preset files, below files.
The user can place their files with parameters of wires on the External Storage in the directory rWinding/wire. The directory is created automatically when you first run the application.
2) Hand
In manual mode, the wire parameters are set by the user. Enter outer wire diameter (Diam), the wire diameter without insulation (Core diam.)
In determining the winding parameters, fill in the following values:
•Turns – the number of turns in coil
• Current – the current in the winding
• Wire - the amount of wire which you coil
• Winding - the number of windings, the windings have the same parameters and are wound together.
• Ext.wind. – number of circuits which performs the additional winding. Runs together with the main windings of the same wire and has the same number of turns. The electrical parameters (Current density & Dissemin. power in wire) for the additional winding is not calculated.
• Isol – thickness of insulation (e.g., varnish) after performing the winding .
• Tails – the length of the insights of the product is indicated to determine the length of wire for winding
After filling all required fields click CALC. The result of calculation will get:
•Layers of winding - number of the winding layers of the inside ring and outside the ring.
•Freely turns - the number of free turns in the last layerof the inside ring and outside the ring.
When you click SCHEME OF WINDING window appears which contains a detailed scheme of winding. The table contains columns OUT (the turns in layers on the outside of the ring) and IN (the turns in layers inside the ring).
• Dimensions - the total size of the ring after winding format Outer diameter x Inner diameter x Height
• Inductance – winding inductance (mkH).
• Max current – the maximum current through the winding. Must be less than the above Current.
• Length of one wire - length of each of the wires in the windings.
• Length of all wires – total length of wire in all windings.
• Mass of all wires - the combined mass of wires.
• Current density.
• Dissemin. power in wire – describes the losses for heating wire current.
To use the results in the subsequent calculation it is necessary to press the SET button.
