In this functional group you have to decide whether you want to calculate the transformer for pulsed DC-DC Converter with PWM modulation or Transformer for sinusoidal, triangular or pulse signals.

When calculating the FlyBack Converter, you can use cores loaded into the list of the functional group Ring, not only ferrite, but also others, provided that the Al (inductance coefficient) and DCB are specified in the file.

When calculating all other types of transformer, only ferrite cores can be used.
