rWinding: core choice

On this screen, you select the parameters of the ring.

Implemented 2 mode selection ring:

1) Auto

In this mode, the ring is selected from the list and its parameters already defined. The list can be downloaded with the button Load. When you click Load a list of files with the parameters of the cores. At the top of the list are preset files, below files.

The user can place their files with the parameters of the core on the External Storage in the directory rWinding/ring. The directory is created automatically when you first run the application.

2) Hand

In manual mode the ring parameters are defined by user. You enter the outer ring diameter (D) inner diameter (d), its height (h), the inductance factor Al, the maximum current through 1 turn on the ring (DCB)

If you selected Ferrite, the values of Al and Imax are calculated as in the Auto mode (from the entered dimensions of the core and the magnitude of the gap (z) and the material of the core (determined by the "TO FIND" button ))

When determining the parameters of the core must also fill in the following values:

• Numb - number of cores. The cores are glued into the cassette.

tray height = height rings * Numb + Glue* (Numb-1)

• Glue – glue thickness between the rings in the cassette

• Isol – insulation thickness (such as lacquer) on the ring or the tape after gluing several rings

After filling all required fields click CALC. The result of the calculation get the final dimensions of the ring or glued magazine and its electrical parameters (Al&DCB).

To use the results in the subsequent calculation it is necessary to press the SET button
