Organize/Send SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, if any are available (imaging, educational, therapy, etc.).
Consider signing ROI forms for other providers (therapist, psychiatrist, medical providers, etc.).
Consider providing Teacher Information, if the patient is a student.
Ensure insurance information and payment information is up to date for billing.
Before testing:
Try to get a good night's rest before the appointment.
Eat a typical breakfast and/or lunch. Feel free to bring snacks/drinks.
Take medication as prescribed/directed unless discussed with your prescriber, physician, and/or Dr. Larsson. Also, please avoid use of alcohol or substances (cannabis, etc.) for 24-48 hours prior to the appointment.
Please do not wear hats with bills (ball caps) to the appointment.
Make sure to wear/bring glasses, contacts, or hearing aids, if any.
TESTING 3- to 6-hour appointment(s)
iPad, computer, and paper questions, puzzles, and “games” one-on-one with Dr. Larsson.
Verbal skills, visuospatial skills, reasoning, processing speed, attention, memory and learning, social behaviors, emotional functioning, and personality.
Academic testing can be included (for students).
For kiddos, feel free to review Talking to Your Child About Testing. And feel free to bring any comfort items for younger kiddos to use during testing.
“All-day” testing appointments will have a lunch break, typically starting around 11:30-12:00.
Only one parent/guardian needs to accompany minors.
Complete RATING SCALES.
Patients will complete rating scales during the appointment(s) with Dr. Larsson.
The parent/guardian accompanying the kiddo to testing will receive rating scales to complete during the appointment. Additional rating scales may also be sent by email to complete online.
Other parent(s)/guardian(s) will be provided rating scales by email.
For kiddos/students, teacher name(s) and email(s) may be requested to ask they complete rating scales. Please find that contact information to provide at the testing appointment.
In certain cases, other adults may be asked to complete rating scales. This may include grandparents/aunts/uncles with regular contact and/or nannies/babysitters.

For testing appointments, please park along 35th St, Wetmore Ave, or Colby Ave (34th block) as parking on Colby Ave (35th block) is restricted to 2-hours.
Enter the main doors off of Colby, pass through the lobby on the main level, and continue to the left to find the SPA offices at the end of the hallway.
