OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT SERVICES
Forensic evaluations and court-ordered evaluation services are not offered.
Parental, custody, or adoption-related evaluation services are not offered.
FAA/flight evaluation services are not offered.
Therapy/counseling services are not offered.
Evaluations start with a diagnostic intake interview during which we talk about current and past concerns, symptoms, or problems. Intakes are typically 45-60 minutes.
For pediatric patients, I ask the kiddo attend with their parent(s)/guardian(s). For adult patients, most come in solo, but spouses/partners, parents, or adult children are welcome.
Next is testing, which typically includes some one-on-one tasks, questions, and puzzles as well as rating scales/questionnaires.
One-on-one testing typically ranges from 3-6 hours and can be scheduled in one or two days.
Throughout the evaluation, I have the patient, parents or guardians, teachers, spouses or partners, and/or adult child complete rating scales.
Evaluations end with a feedback. During the feedback, we review results, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
After the feedback, I finalize the diagnostic report and provide you a copy.
While the feedback is often the last appointment, I am always happy to continue consultation, provide additional resources, or any questions that come up later.
