The digital design/mock-up for portrait-gen.AI that was then transferred several times onto linoleum. The concept was "invention, innovation, & progress." Inspired by my own connection to digital art, I decided to explore the historical progression of art: the significance of portraiture, the transition into digital creation, and the current discourse surrounding the usage of generative artificial intelligence.

The two plates used for In Praeterium, In Praesens. I wanted to revisit linoleum and test my skills at registration, while exploring new content and themes. I wanted to explore contrast and push myself to work with figures within the limitations of non-reductive linoprinting.
