A review paper on using atomic clocks for nuclear and particle physics is published on Applied Physics Reviews. Starting from the summary of the state-of-the-art atomic clocks, including nuclear clocks and highly charged ion clocks, it discusses the recent progress on searches for the variation of fundamental constants, ultralight dark matter, the fifth force between an electron and a neutron through isotope shift measurements using these atomic clocks.
