Airalo accepts cards and, depending on region, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Wallet buttons are designed to be fast: one tap, a face or fingerprint check, and the order is placed. That speed is the problem when you are holding a discount code. EDCC10 takes 10% off the plan price, but only if it is applied on the order summary or payment screen before payment is authorised. Once the order is complete, the code cannot be added retroactively, and there is no reliable route to having 10% credited back after paying full price.
So with wallet payments, the discount step has to come first, not last.
Sign in to your Airalo account at airalo.com or in the app before you start, rather than part-way through checkout.
Open the destination plan you want and confirm the data allowance and validity window.
Press Buy Now to reach the order summary and payment screen.
Find the promo code field first: in the app it is a tappable row with a tag or ticket icon above the total, on the web a text box in the order summary panel.
Enter EDCC10 exactly, with no spaces, and apply it.
Check that a discount line has appeared and that the total has dropped by 10%.
Only then choose your card or tap the wallet button and authorise payment.
If you change the plan after applying the code, re-read the total before authorising; the figure the wallet sheet shows is the figure that will be charged.
The Apple Pay or Google Pay sheet shows a total, not a breakdown of how that total was reached. It will not tell you whether a discount line is present. Treat the Airalo order summary as the source of truth and the wallet sheet as confirmation of the number you already verified.
The code also has limits worth remembering at this point. It applies to the plan price shown in the store, not to the data allowance or the validity window. Bank foreign transaction fees and exchange rates sit outside checkout entirely and are not reduced by the code, whichever payment method you use. Assume one code per order, and assume codes do not stack with other offers or an active sale.
Check the spelling and that no space has been added by autocomplete. If the discount line still does not appear, consider the usual explanations: codes on the platform are typically single-use per account, promotional codes are generally intended for new eSIM purchases through standard checkout, and eligibility can differ on top-ups and on store credit or gift-card purchases. Whether loyalty or referral credit stacks with a code is shown on the payment screen when you try it. The safest test is simply whether the total changes before you authorise.
Do not create a second account to reuse a single-use voucher. That breaches retailer terms and risks the accounts, including any eSIMs already installed on them.
A receipt is emailed, and the eSIM appears under My eSIMs. Install it over home Wi-Fi using direct install or the QR code with its SM-DP+ address and activation code, then leave the line off until you arrive. On landing, select the Airalo line and enable Data Roaming for that line only. If there is no signal, toggle airplane mode or manually select a partner network.
Keep the receipt. If you later seek a refund or raise a chargeback on a discounted order, the amount returned is what you paid, not the pre-discount price, and the voucher itself does not come back.
The expiry date of EDCC10 is not published externally. Nor is it stated whether the code is single-use per account or reusable, whether it covers repeat purchases as well as first ones, whether top-ups count as eligible orders, whether any minimum order value applies, or whether particular package types are excluded. None of that can be settled from the wallet sheet; it can only be settled by watching the total on the order summary before you pay.
