Airalo Voucher EDCC10: A Pocket Reference Card for the 10% Off

Why a reference card is useful here

Buying a travel eSIM involves several small decisions in a row: which plan, which device, which payment method, and where the discount field hides. Most of them are quick, but they are easy to fumble when you are packing or standing in a departures hall. What follows is a condensed reference you can read once and keep to hand, rather than a step-by-step tutorial. It covers what the voucher is, the single screen that matters, and the lines you should not expect it to change.

Enter the code exactly as written, with no spaces, then check that a discount line appears and the total falls by 10% before you authorise payment.

Where the field sits on each platform

In the app, the code row appears above the total on the order summary and is tappable, usually marked with a tag or ticket icon. On the web, it is a text box inside the order summary panel. Either way you reach it by searching the destination, opening the plan, confirming the data allowance and validity, and pressing Buy Now. You need to be signed in to an Airalo account first — by email, Google or Apple sign-in — because eSIMs are managed, reinstalled and topped up from that account.

Payment is by card or, depending on region, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. A receipt is emailed once the order goes through.

What the 10% touches, and what it leaves alone

The discount reduces the price of the package. It does not increase the data allowance or extend the validity window. Unused data does not roll over once validity ends, and validity generally begins when the eSIM first connects to a network at the destination rather than at the moment of purchase.

Other lines stay untouched. Bank foreign transaction fees and exchange rates sit outside Airalo's checkout and are not reduced. If you later obtain a refund or raise a chargeback on a discounted order, you get back the amount actually paid, not the pre-discount price, and the voucher itself does not come back to you.

Assume one code per order, and assume codes do not stack with other offers or with an active sale. Codes on the platform are typically single-use per account, and creating duplicate accounts to reuse one breaches retailer terms and puts the accounts at risk.

Blanks you have to fill in at checkout

Several details about EDCC10 are not published externally, so the payment screen is the only reliable test:

The exact expiry date of the code
Whether it is single-use per account or works on later orders
Whether it is limited to first purchases or also covers repeat ones
Whether top-ups, bought from My eSIMs, count as eligible orders
Whether any minimum order value applies
Whether specific package types or promotional plans are excluded
Whether store credit, gift-card purchases or Airalo's own referral credit can combine with it in one transaction

In each case, apply the code and watch the total. If it does not move, the condition has not been met.

The short list after payment

Open My eSIMs and install using direct install or the QR code, or by entering the SM-DP+ address and activation code. Installation needs an internet connection, so do it at home over Wi-Fi and leave the line switched off until you land. On arrival, select the Airalo line and turn on Data Roaming for that line only. If nothing connects, toggle airplane mode or select a partner network manually.

One last device note: the phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Airalo publishes a compatible device list, which generally includes iPhones from the XS generation onwards, recent Google Pixels, and Samsung Galaxy S and Z flagships.
