ABOUT ME:
Currently looking for a part time job! Please contact me about any opportunities regarding any of the skills listed here.

WHAT MAKES ME SPECIAL?
I have been actively ahead of my education by pursuing development opportunities outside of class. My non-standard experiences show my dedication to game development and creative media as well as my growing understanding of it on a more complex, hands-on level through professional and personal experiences.
PANTHER DEV : This is GSU's largest creative media club. It focuses on portfolio-building projects that foster collaboration and networking. After my first week participating in the club, I immediately took the opportunity to bring my creative ideas to life by becoming a team lead. This is a pseudo-producer role who will organize and lead a team of students to make a game by the end of the semester.
The game I made in PantherDev, called Titania, was a youthful start to my extracurricular education and taught me extremely valuable lessons. I can't stress enough how important this community is for learning design and development, something we as students have taken into our own hands. This experience was so important to me that I wanted to dedicate my time to improving the club and getting more students into the loop.
In Fall of 2023 I became Vice President of PantherDev along with a good friend, Laura Baptie, as President. In addition to producing more professional branding for the club, I was dedicated to making PantherDev a learning experience. I rewrote our documents to reflect a more professional design philosophy that could push teams to make more impressive portfolio pieces. I provided extensive feedback on game design documents and project updates. I also helped promote and assist the operation of game jams such as Global Game Jam 2024 & Dev Dev Jam 2023+2024.
LIGHTBREAK : I joined Deev Interactive in my junior year of college because of the talent I showed in PantherDev. This is a musical puzzle game that came out of GGJ 2020. LightBreak released February 28, 2025. Check out the dedicated page on my contributions to this project: here.
This project has pushed my skills in a more professional sense. The consequences and motivator of any design choices I make on this game come down to an understanding of a market and meeting the needs of a specific audience. It has also taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of a designer overseeing development. I've learned that a designer is not just designing for the audience but for development itself, and their specificity and clarity is what ultimately makes progress easier.
LightBreak has been inextricably marked by my presence. Despite coming on for an originally minor aspect of the game, I've now dabbled in most systems and have added entirely new aspects to the experience to increase its value and playtime.
YOUTUBE : Not only am I using my developing skills within the community but I am also applying them to personal projects such as my YouTube channel BludPanda. This will allow me to establish a niche in my specific topic--to make content only I could make. For example, my skills in game design, 3D modeling, and art is weighing into a new series of mine called Lego: Gotham Specters. This is a hypothetical reboot of the Lego Batman franchise in gaming.
I've been doing YouTube and video projects since childhood and my growing understanding of video production and online algorithms sets me apart. I don't just know how to develop games, I know how to talk about and highlight them. I've been writing scripts for years, often analyzing stories I love in an attempt to better understand them.
PROGRESS:
My adaptability and ingenuity in design is what makes me special, and I am aware of what improvement is needed going forward. I am not stuck in a single profession and am capable of learning new ways of exploring art and entertainment.
Additionally, I seek to help create a more equal environment in the art / entertainment world. Game development should be about strong collaboration and connection, not about loose ties that can be cut without regard. Art is a foundational motivator and educator for humanity, a concept often understated. Creatives are the frontier of progress, and they need to be seen in a higher regard. As I enter a new form of entertainment, one with great, immersive potential, I will be doing my part in fostering progress.
