You will be attending New Hire Orientation at 9:00 AM sharp. It will include the following activities:

For remote starters coming to Bangkok office:
You will be attending Virtual New Hire Orientation on your first day starting remotely. It will include the following activities:
Getting to know your trainers
Ice breaking activities
Overview of Agoda (company history and departments)
Main systems and platforms

On your first day in Bangkok office, an Onboarding team representative will walk you through the following topics:
Administrative information
Thailand employee benefits
1) Your national ID card or driver's license in exchange for elevator access card
2) Life Insurance Form (filled out)
If you are an expat, you will also have to bring:
3) Your original passport and your dependents' passport(s) (if any)
1) Smart casual (no flip flops, mini-skirt, revealing and/or torn clothing, or T-shirts with profane language)
2) T-shirts and jeans are fine!
Around a week prior to your first day, Onboarding team will send you first day instructions and more details on how to make your way to our office.
Within the first few weeks, you can expect the following tasks:
1) Fill out Tax Redemption Questionnaire on Workday
2) Selection of social security hospitals in Thailand
3) Selection of medical insurance plan (you will have to choose between 2 options)
There's no physical card for both plans. Instead, you can use E-card which is available on mobile app or email, depends on the plan you select. Or, you can present your ID card or passport at the hospital.
Your medical insurance is effective since your first day
90 Days Reporting
All foreigners staying in Thailand for over 90 consecutive days and holding a Non-Immigrant Visa are required to report their present address every 90 days. Regulations and processes also apply for your dependents living in Thailand.
Instructions will be conveyed to you at a later time once you start working in our Bangkok office.
Thailand Provident Fund (Optional)
All full-time employees can choose to participate in our Provident Fund after they pass their probation period. The purpose of the fund is to encourage long term savings. All money placed in the fund will be managed by an accredited investment management company for investments in various securities to maximize final returns.
More details on the fund will accessible once you start working in our Bangkok office.
Agoda has now adopted the Hybrid workplace model where it designed to embrace the best elements of our remote and in-office culture.
Apart from the normal working in the office culture, Agoda employees now have the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week (the WFH days may depend on the team). Moreover, there's a 30 calendar days work from anywhere scheme (remote work program) but please check out these guidelines later once you have access to Agoda resources, effective on your first official date of joining us.
