Entertainment applications are open for the festival.

The Africa In April on the Worlds Famous Beale St. in Memphis Tennessee. One of the most iconic streets in America – Beale Street is the Home of the Blues and the true birthplace of Rock n Roll. Spanning three blocks in Downtown Memphis.

Forms and documents are for demonstration only! Not actual documents for submission. Contact the event, they may accept the docs or forms from the patron, vendor or attendee.

Important Notes:

The PDF must be read completely, important information can not be overlooked and is not listed on the form.
Upload and submit a completed PDF application if it was not submitted with images or video.
Images and video submitted without the PDF or Form application, they will not be considered.
Resubmit incomplete PDF applications with images and video before the deadline.
Form applications must be completed and submitted along with images and video.
Form applications can not be downloaded.
Images without a complete application will not be considered.

The Africa In April Artist is selective. If you are an entertainment act looking to play on any of our stages, if you know of any performance entertainment acts, send them our way!

All entertainer's submissions are stored for potential future bookings. Please only submit an application one time.

Provide as much information as possible about your musical history and accomplishments;
Upload audio and video files complemented with detailed descriptions so it’s easy for festival organizers to understand the content;
Submitted press kits should include a written version of your artist bio, description of any performances or residencies that have occurred in the past, one or two additional press photos, list of press contacts and reviews;
