A domain is created when one has a fortified structure (stronghold). A collection of domains under the control of one leader is a realm although the realm leader will always have one domain personally under their control. The other areas would be vassal domains that require others to rule over.
Map level 1 is a 6 mile hex map. A domain represents at least one hex. Resources are created out of those hex, depending on the type of resource it can generate. Hexes can be improved.

Example of hex map level 1.
The movement rates of an army follow standard modifiers for terrain difficulty. Armies are required to rest for three days out of every seven to re-supply, care for troops and equipment. When an army is within 4 hexes of an opposing force, the action shifts to daily instead of weekly movement on the table. A leader will submit once per week their movements for their armies and maps will be updated.
If you are within a road or waterway, and there is an unbroken link from your stronghold to your army, then your army is supplied at normal rate, but it must be to the shortest route to your stronghold. If however your line is blocked, the line of supply is cut off/out of supply. Armies with this status lose 1 HP per day and suffer -1 to attack and damage. They also do not have the ability to heal through normal means but may heal via magic. Every seven days of being cut off/out of supply creates a situation where the army leader must roll on the Loyalty Table.
If an army enters the same hex as another army, it will automatically engage in battle.
