Massachusetts has a total of 166 numbered highways, of which I have traversed 150. There are also a bunch of unnumbered state-maintained roads like the Lowell Connector, VFW Parkway, etc., some of which I have traveled over the years. Massachusetts has many unique highways, ranging from 87 yards in length to over 150 miles long. Even beyond the numbered highways are some scenic and beautiful backroads winding through the state. Come find out more about the roads of Massachusetts below!
