Heading south from MA 109 in Millis towards the middle and high school.
MA 115 SB in Millis.
I've never seen a stop ahead sign with a distance on it. MA 115 turns slightly right to become Village St. It then quickly bears left and becomes Norfolk Rd., which is where the paddle signs are location.
Into Norfolk with a Slow sign and a white Vehicles Entering warning near Winterberry Way. Old concrete posts appear after Holbrook Rd.
Looking south before Overlea Rd. SB shield before Stacey Rd. Blind Driveway warning on a wooden post near the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Approaching Boardman St. at a strangely angled intersection. I was driving 29 mph, so Norfolk gave me a smile! Norfolk streets are signed with wooden posts, reminiscent of times past. The school crossing warning comes just before the entrance to Freeman-Kennedy school.
Crossing the T tracks and passing the Norfolk station before coming to the first of two rotaries in the town center. Notice the older style of the traffic circle warning sign.
Stone welcome sign on the outside of the first rotary.
Shield after the first rotary, then a warning for the next rotary and a non-compliant Yield Ahead sign (yield signs aren't yellow in the middle!). SB shield assembly points to North St. Another typical Norfolk street sign for Liberty La. with a sign pointing to the library.
The Norfolk special street sign for North and Union, followed by a SB shield. The right lane ends, though there was never one to begin with. The sign is really trying to communicate that the road narrows at this point. Isn't there a sign for that? No Engine Brake sign is just beyond Kilpatrick Way.
Another dangerous intersection at Needham St./North St. The litter bug sign is just after the intersection. Now on Pond St., we pass the Pond St. Recreational Complex, then Marshall St., where pedestrians are allowed to cross MA 115.
Approaching MA 1A in southern Norfolk.
