Northbound

Crossing the CT line to begin MA 197. I haven't seen too many blue state line signs on roads like these, they're usually green.

Old DPW shield and an off-spec 4-way intersection sign (Christians crossing?) before Lyons Rd./Hall Rd.

Coming up to MA 12 but what's that in the corner? It's an ancient state highway maintenance sign! And we get an END assembly to top it off!

Southbound

Heading south from MA 12 with a worn and peeling DPW-era shield.

Dudley Fire Department at Mason Rd. and advance signal warning for Airport Rd.

MA 197 SB at Airport Rd. in Dudley.

Caught two DPW-era 4-way intersection signs, the first before Dudley Hill Rd./Indian Rd and the second before Center Rd./Fabyan Rd. SB shield comes after Hall Rd./Lyons Rd.

School crossing sign also comes before Center Rd./Fabyan Rd., but there's no school here!
