MA 240

Southbound

Despite being shortest route entirely within Massachusetts, MA 240 still has a hidden treasure near its southern end. One of very few remaining original button copy signs with the original, non-cutout shields as well! The only SB shield on the road is now gone, by the way.

Junctions

EB on I-195 approaching Exit 29 (Exit 18 back in 2018). MA 240 appears to have grading for a cloverleaf junction, but those plans were never realized. Those ghost ramps indicate MA 240 was once planned to extend northward towards Acushnet.
