Study = Office/Den (U.S.A.)

Bath = Bathtub (U.S.A.)

Duvet = Quilt (In the U.S.A., a duvet is a cover for a quilt.)

There isn't a dining room in this house. Many older homes in the U.S. have dining rooms. People eat formal dinners in their dining rooms.

There is an attic. There are boxes and toys in the attic.

There is a study (office or den). There is a computer in the study.

There is a kitchen. There are cupboards in the kitchen.

What is (there) in the bedroom? There is a bed. There are pillows. What else is there in the bedroom?  What is in your bedroom?

Is there a basement? Where is the basement? The basement is the floor below the house. The attic is above the house. The basement is below the house.

Is there a workshop in the basement? Is there a laundry room in the basement? Many homes have workshops and laundry rooms in the basement.
