Mobile Task Forces (MTFs) are specialized units within the Foundation, formed to address exceptional threats that surpass the capabilities of regular personnel. These units, often referred to as the "best of the best," can vary significantly in size and purpose. Large combat-oriented task forces may consist of hundreds of personnel, vehicles, and equipment, while smaller investigative units may comprise fewer than a dozen members. In the field, MTF members often pose as emergency responders, law enforcement, or military personnel, adapting to the region they operate in. Each unit is organized to suit its intended purpose, with varying degrees of formality in their chain of command. Mobile Task Forces are commissioned based on the approval of the Director of Task Forces and, in some cases, the O5 Council, to address unique anomalies or emerging threats.
