The UX Design Thinking Game is an educational and skill-strengthening tool to get new learners into User Experience Design. It allows for the growth of many skills including designing, creative confidence, and quick and critical thinking in an engaging and gamified setting.
“Loomings” is a creative take on Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. I interact with the book’s looming questions of hermeneutics by interpreting it through various art forms and by conducting close readings. Moby-Dick can be perceived through many lenses and is critical of any viewpoint imposing a single answer.
The objective of this project is to construct a wrist attachment with a “snap band” mechanism that does not rely on precise hand/finger movement to fasten it to the user. Additionally, the device signals the user when it is in use through visual and techno-somatic stimuli.
This research is about the Varicella Zoster Virus, making information accessible to children with a real-life story on experiences of infection. Details include symptoms, the pathophysiology and replication cycle of the virus. Added are how the human immune system responds and information on the vaccines currently available.
