This diptych is part of the Venus series. Here, a female body echoing classical forms is fragmented into small pieces, representing both the multiple identities and facets of an individual, as well as their inherent fragilities. Allegories of error are added to this body: the serpent, as the ultimate seducer, and the butterfly, a symbol of lightness and innocence, qualities which, despite being positive, can lead one astray.
The companion piece, a smaller work, contains Greek words that evoke the concept of error in its various forms. Ate, for instance, was a deity who, by stepping upon the heads of men, caused them to err. Thus, all mortals were considered excusable for their mistakes, as the fault lay with the gods. Even the legendary quarrel between Agamemnon and Achilles was, in fact, caused by Ate’s influence.

The Venus of the Universe is a celebration of femininity as a universal generative force. Through warm colors and dynamic forms, the work reinterprets the classical figure of Venus, immersing her in a starry background that emphasizes her primordial origins.
Beside it, a complementary work explores the philosophical roots of existence. Words such as KÓSMOS, APÉIRON, ARCHÉ, PAN, and OURANÓS connect the body depicted in the first piece with the concepts of the universe, the infinite, the origin, and totality.

The Venus of Identity is an acrylic work on paper that explores the themes of fragmentation and fragility through the reconstruction of the female figure. The figure emerges from a whirlwind of intense reds, oranges, and pinks, reflecting on the theme of cultural identity.
The second panel deepens the conceptual dimension by revisiting key Greek words fundamental to the theme of identity:
ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ (Politeia – Citizenship, Constitution)
ΗΘΟΣ (Ethos – Character, Custom)
ΤΡΟΠΟΣ (Tropos – Way, Manner)
ΓΕΝΟΣ (Genos – Lineage, Origin)
ΜΝΗΜΗ (Mneme – Memory)
