My artistic path began with predominantly figurative art but has since evolved into a research that leads me toward more abstract and conceptual forms. The element of writing, understood as visual poetry, is a recurring presence in my work.
This section is organized into series of works that engage in a mutual dialogue:
La serie delle Veneri (2024)
This series consists of diptychs exploring human fragility and identity. In one panel, the nude female figure—evoking the classical Venus—is depicted in fragments. This broken body acts as a metaphor for vulnerability. The second panel ideally completes the figure's presence: through selected Greek words that evoke different nuances of the central theme, the written language becomes deeply interwoven with the image.
Linee di donna (2024)
This series stems from a rapid, essential, and energy-filled pictorial gesture. The line is immediate and spontaneous, aimed at capturing the presence of the female body in just a few strokes. This style stands out for its focus on the spontaneity of the mark and its evocative power. Created using only two colors—red and blue—this minimal choice enhances the visual and symbolic impact, establishing a dialogue between energy and sensitivity.
Poesia Visuale (2024/2025)
In this section, the presence of text—whether subtle or prominent—and its graphic arrangement become fundamental visual elements. These works create a space where the graphic sign dialogues with the creative mark.
Cianotipie (2025)
An area of research dedicated to the photographic printing process that produces monochromatic images in intense Prussian blue. Cyanotype allows me to explore themes of memory and identity through an ancient and fascinating technique.
Composizioni (2025)
This section brings together my most recent paintings. Here, the mark becomes abstract, and the white space dialogues with fragments of color. The exploration of this style creates a new dialogue between graphic and pictorial signs. The themes addressed are primarily the fragmentation of identity and fragility.
