This is the inaugural piece of the Women’s Lines series. With fast and energetic strokes, I have outlined a female figure using a palette exclusively composed of blue and red. The intent is to capture the essence of a woman’s body in a few powerful brushstrokes, conveying both her intrinsic elegance and vibrant energy. The artistic gesture is instinctive and immediate.

Exhibited at the Open Studio at Fabbrica del Vapore in late May 2025, this work is part of the Women’s Lines series. The series aims to represent the female body through bold, impulsive strokes, utilizing only a red and blue palette. This style stands in stark contrast to the candles surrounding the figure, which are rendered with a more realistic approach.

Women’s Lines III is part of the Women’s Lines series, a project born from the need for a rapid, essential gesture, charged with energy and spontaneity.

The work is created using only two colors: red and blue. They dance across the canvas, at times merging into vibrant purples, at others reclaiming their independence. This minimal chromatic choice strengthens the visual and symbolic impact: red, often associated with vitality and strength, clashes and intertwines with blue, a symbol of introspection and sensitivity. This dialogue between strength and vulnerability is the emotional heart of the work.
