I have been producing short films since I was a young child. Initially, I used my iPod and iMovie to create stop animation movies using Lego figures to try and depict a fun storyline set to music. Then I moved on to creating short films to entertain my family during the tough lockdown years, first using WonderShare Filmora 9, then Da Vinci Resolve 17, Vegas Pro 18 and finally Premier Pro.
When I began studying GCSE Media Studies, it opened my eyes to a new path of creating media and analysing how media is made. I was hooked. I focused on my GCSE Media Studies and achieved a grade 8. I had a hunger for more. I had found my love in life, Media Studies. I set my sights on the A Level and increasing my knowledge. I consume all types of media which has broadened my horizons. It has helped me to understand the wider world of media, the bias, the representations, the exploitations, the power of messages within media. It is my ambition to study Media at University.
