Discussion on Lesson Plan
While teaching Adapted PE, I had to make workout for the students so that they were working their cardiovascular endurance and building strength. It was essential for them to move and be active with having some physical or mental limitations. It was a challenge to modify some of the workouts to get everyone involved but after awhile I improved on what exercises to include based on what they like and are capable of.
It is important because it shows that my understanding for their needs were met. I was able to make modifications for the students as they were progressing through the semester. I had to be careful about the core exercises that were being presented to them. It was very individualized as well so they were able to use different weights.
For my future classroom, I will have students that will need separate accommodations that need to be made in order for them to succeed. Whether it is for Adapted or General PE, some students will need more attention that others. Therefore, I will have to get to know my students so I can group them up during activities or maybe make some time for them to learn one on one.

Discussion on PowerPoint for Middle Grade PE
This PowerPoint was something that I completed with a group. We were able to present this to the class as if we were teachers for a 5th grade classroom. We simulated a health class that was teacher about important health terms. With these terms, they played hangman. The kids enjoy games like this and will be able to play the game much easier.
It was important to be able to work as a group as well as being able to come up with creative games that the students would want to do. Students learn better when they are engaged and intrigued in the subject matter. Therefore, Hangman was a good choice to pick considering mostly everyone knows how to play the game. I think the incorporating education with fun games will allow them to see that learning is fun.
In the future, I will use games like this for my students to learn whether it is middle school, elementary school, or high school. Hangman could be used for all ages because most students would rather do this than reading out of a book. Also, I will have to teach as a group in the future. Therefore, working as a group during this project gave me the practice that I needed to work on my collaborative skills.
