Pod meetings are now being held in person locally!

We will be meeting in person at 5:30 pm on the 4th Thursday of every month for a general membership meeting. The locations will be rotating throughout town. Please email us and check our social media for information on these meetings. Current and potential new members are welcome to join!

We will be forming working groups for additional projects throughout the year. Please stay tuned as we build out these projects.

February 11, 2021: COVID-19 Ask the Experts Panel, in collaboration with Big Bend Hospice, Elder Care Services, Inc., and Tallahassee Senior Center and Foundation.

Sept 12th and 13th: Events will include a screening of the film, a harassment in STEM panel discussion, and a Wikipedia edit-a-thon. Learn more and register by going to the event page!

Beginning August 26th, the 100th anniversary of the certification of the 19th Amendment, March For Science is launching their Women on the Front Lines speaker series to highlight the work of women leaders, activists, and mentors and will work to elevate the untold stories throughout history as well as stories of today.

The first event is on Aug 26 from 6-7pm EST to mark the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment. There will also be a training with When We All Vote to learn how to engage voters in your community for the critical upcoming election. Click above for more info and registration.

SACNAS Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, July 12, 2020

500 Women Scientists and SACNAS partnered for a Wikipedia edit-a-thon. More than 100 participants created 17 new entries and edited 183 articles. Articles have been viewed over half a million times! Learn more at this dashboard.
