Mark 12:13-17
13 Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words. 14 They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not? 15 Should we pay or shouldn’t we?”
But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. “Why are you trying to trap me?” he asked. “Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.” 16 They brought the coin, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”
“Caesar’s,” they replied.
17 Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”
And they were amazed at him.
Luke 2:1-4
Caesar Augustus Reigned When Jesus was Born
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
Luke 3:1-3
Tiberius Caesar Reigned When John the Baptist Preached
1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar—when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene— 2 during the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. 3 He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

The Bible is God Breathed
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Jesus said that His people should give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to give to God, what is God's...And as St. Luke wrote his gospel and about Jesus, he was giving us solid information about firmer timelines of Jesus and the Roman Emperor Caesar...St. Luke really helps us get a timeline on the time of Jesus in his gospel, as well as the Disciples and St. Paul in his second book, the Acts of the Apostles...
Very few people have any problems believing in the list of Roman Emperors starting with Caesar Augustus, then Tiberius Caesar, then Caligula Gaius Caesar, then Claudius Caesar, then Nero Claudius Caesar, and then others...People seem to have an easier time believing in the history of these Roman Emperors than they do John the Baptist and Jesus, who lived in the time of the early Caesars...Luke documents at Jesus' birth during Caesar Augustus' time and when John the Baptist started preparing the way for Jesus, when Tiberius Caesar was in charge...It seems to some, it is easier to believe that these Roman Emperors are a part of earth's history and Jesus is not...But I have read from multiple sources that there are ten manuscripts written about Caesar on the Gallic Wars and they are within eight hundred to one thousand years of his life...There are fifty six hundred New Testament manuscripts (and fragments) written about Jesus within one hundred years of His life...There is no old and ancient manuscript with more copies and information than the New Testament...So one might conclude from these writing that Jesus like Caesar are both historical figures...
Josephus wrote about the different Roman Emperors during the times of Jesus and after Jesus' death...For those wanting timelines on the New Testament, by his writings and others, we get a better time line of Jesus and His life, using the reference points of the Roman Emperors and other historical figures that Josephus wrote about as well as other ancient historians...
The Bible surely had one original manuscript or manuscripts by each of the authors...The authors and just as important, those following the original authors would do their best to check and recheck the next edition or next manuscript with the original, because these words were inspired by God...The written word was God-breathed and not to be changed...What would happen to them if the script did change His word?...The scripts were taught and knew the words were both sacred and holy...The words were not to change...As an ancient document, the Bible scripts and ones rewriting the old manuscripts, as they were used over and over and wearing and then wore out -the scripts did their very best not to change the words of the very earliest of manuscripts...
Of all the oldest of books, the Bible and the writers and rewriters would do their best to preserve the original words of God...And it can be said that the Bible is the best preserved book from its first copy, because Scripture is just that way -mysterious, divine, sacred, and holy...Can the rewritten works and other remaining ancient documents of Caesar and others be as well preserved to their original manuscripts?...
