The VEX world championship of 2016
Competitions begin at regional levels where everyone can compete. Then, after the regional competitions are finished, the teams compete at their state or country level events if they had qualified during the regional competitions. The state and national competitions winners proceed on to the world championship, which is the final VEX competition for each season.
VEX robotics strives to teach students skills that they will use throughout their careers and empowers them to investigate opportunities in technology and design fields.
The game that students compete in changes every year. This year, the game is called Change Up, where 4 teams compete to score the most points for their color (red or blue) with their alliance by scoring red or blue balls in goals.

TSA is a national, non-profit organization of middle and high school student members who are engaged in STEM. They run a few competitions in Utah as well as providing a leadership camp during the fall. Its the grounds that our presidency is founded on.
PLTW Engineering empowers students to step into the role of an engineer, adopt a problem-solving mindset, and make the leap from dreamers to doers. PLTW is the curriculum all of Mr. Leifson's classes follow
