Introduction
The Second Airborne is an aerial infantry company of the 7th Sky Corps 212th Attack Battalion, it consists of clone paratroopers that were led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander CC-2224 "Cody", they received elite training and were the Republic's rapid deployment drop units. These troopers are remembered for their bravery in the battle of Utapau where they fought alongside the 7th Sky Corps troopers.
Equipment
As a member of the 2nd Airborne Company you are equipped with multiple weapons, the DP-24, DP-23-7SC, Det-pack, and a DC-17C. You are also equipped with a 2AB advaned jump pack(not jetpack) for horizontal and vertical maneuverability. The 2nd Airborne Company have specially designed helmets for high altitude drops, and are marked with two orange stripes across the chest.
Expectations
During events and missions you are expected to be able to drop from altitudes using your jump packs to land safely. Using your Dp-24 and DC-17 you will take out high value targets and enemies from range when needed. When clearing close quarters such as in buildings or narrow streets use you DP-23-7SC to be most effective. Another use for your jump packs are to reach spots that would be unreachable without them, Whenever in a battle you can use your jump packs to get more altitude against your enemy and to get to better cover(the high ground is the best ground). The jump pack is also very useful in increasing your mobility, by tap-activating it you get a significant increase in forward and lateral movement speed, allowing you to dodge enemy fire or dart into cover quickly.
Ranks
Duties/Purpose:
The purpose of a 2ABTR is to be an introductory phase to 2AB, when someone joins 2AB, they are to be placed at this rank and if they prove they are good at their job they will be promoted to 2AB. Other than this this you are to follow the normal duties of a normal 212th.
Duties/Purpose:
The duties of the your standard 2AB is much the same as a 2ABTR, you are to be an active member not only in your sub-unit, but also 212th.
Duties/Purpose:
The duty of this position is to be the main ones doing 2AB tryouts and 2AB activities so that the XO and Lead can focus on running the sub-unit. People in this position are to be given it if they have been shown to be the best of the best 2AB members. There can only be 2 2ABS at one time
Duties/Purpose:
The main duties of the 2ABXO are to assist Barlex in their duties of running the sub-unit. You are to also do tryouts in any 2ABS are unable to do so or there no 2ABS as the time. You are to also promote those in 2AB who you deem worthy of a promotion.
Duties/Purpose:
Barlex serves as the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Airborne Company. Barlex's primary duty is to run 2nd Airborne, with the assistance of the Executive Officer.
As the 2ABCO, you are to oversee the activity of members within 2AB and promote and demote based on activity and how good someone is at their job within 2AB. You are also in charge of choosing the 2ABXO if the slot is empty. Who is chosen for the position of 2ABL is up to 212th command.
