Lead list for this year created building off of leads and employers in attendance in previous years
Lead list organized into pavilions to ensure different sectors of the industry were representative of expected interests of student attendees
Benefitted from the personal connections to employers throughout the class to both gain a commitment to attend and to grow the list for the future
Packet sent to all employers on lead list along with a short email requesting attendance at the fair
Goal of packet was to provide an eye catching way to initially pique the interest of employers and make them want to attend
Enticing employers with how they can benefit from attendance through the Employer Empower Hour and the overall more casual environment of the fair
Reminding employers the value they can provide by sharing their insights with college students joining the industry
*Indy Fuel Hockey Club, Indiana Historical Society, IUPUI Athletics, Kurt Vonnegut Museum & Library, Thomas Caterers of Distinction, & Indy Premier Soccer Club not in attendance
Only one reminder email sent a few days prior to the event out of recognition that employers don't need more emails in their inbox and all relevant information could be put on one infographic
Handwritten postcards given to each employer who attended to ensure they leave knowing they are appreciated for their time
Inclusion of parking validation to make distribution of code more simple
Inclusion of post-event survey QR code to increase feedback responses collected
-Gabrielle Baker, Business & Ticketing Manager
Only sent to employers who were found to actually be in attendance by the original member of the team who did the initial outreach
Further inclusion of post-event survey to encourage people who either did not see the QR code on the postcard or who did not take their postcard to continue gathering feedback
Kept with the eye catching graphics so that it would stand out in employer inboxes and be noticed amongst other messages
Enjoyed the unique setup and use of cocktail tables
Positive responses to the convenience of having student LinkedIn QR codes on business cards to connect in the moment and appreciation for the portability
Students seemed more engaged with the employers
