Over the course of the semester the students explored a wide range of methods, materials and media ranging between drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Over a range of classwork and assessment tasks, students were able to expand on their understanding of these methods and develop their own ideas in relation to the given briefs. Throughout the semester a strong emphasis was placed on the students in regards to their individual research and self directed learning in which theoretical tasks were completed which were used as the basis of inspiration for the practical tasks.

Some of the practical tasks the students completed were Dawn Tan inspired still life drawings, Pop Art inspired skateboard designs, mandala drawings, observations drawings, Japanese Notan designs and a range of PhotoShop tasks.
