Our set up crew taking a much deserved lunch break!

Sunday, August 18, 2019

Today was the final day for the judges to tweek the tests to be ready for day 1 of the Canadian National Master Hunt Test. It was cool and rainy.

The competitors had the opportunity for a half day of pre-National training. Some teams decided to give their dogs a break and others were looking for a last chance to fine tune skills.

By noon, training was ended for the day as a bitch check was scheduled for any dogs who had not provided a spay certificate. Fortunately all dogs passed the check and are ready to go tomorrow.

The AGM for the Canadian National Master Retriever Club was held and a delicious light lunch of appetizers and vegetable trays was served.

A committee and judges dinner was held in the evening a wonderful Jiggs dinner, a Newfoundland tradition.

Everyone is excited for the test to begin tomorrow.
