Wet Weather:
This is a tricky one, especially given our country.
We suggest that unless it is raining heavily, or the ground is soaking, we will be at marked venues.
[Otherwise, we will have to meet at the church that week]
If the weather is dodgy, we try and send a staff member to both venues where possible (and keep the website/facebook updated)
We will meet though, every week regardless of weather, for either indoor or outdoor fun events !
How will you know
A decision on ‘dodgy days’ will be made around 4:50pm.
We will put a message on our Group Facebook Page
We will try and put a message on our BBGB Website Home page
We will try & email all those people who have provided an email address
this is harder as will be on way to venues and using mobiles...
You can also call us.
Light Snow
Our plan will be to meet as often as we can.
If only light snow, that will still be the case – we will still meet.
Road safety being key.
Heavy Snow
However, if the conditions see ‘heavy’ snow falling and it is unlikely to improve, then there is a possibility that Brigades may have to be cancelled (in the interests of safety whilst travelling).
If unsure, then just give us a call.
We will try if possible to put a notice on the church doors and we hope that you will be understanding if bad weather does affect a Brigade night.
