In today's industrial landscape, manufacturing is rapidly adopting complete automation, with small and medium industries transitioning to PLC and SCADA technologies for efficient data acquisition and control. Automation systems enhance productivity, improve safety, and ensure better product quality by performing repetitive tasks with minimal human intervention. This course equips diploma engineers with essential theoretical and practical knowledge of PLC and SCADA, forming a foundation for specialization in industrial automation.
Identify the possibilities of automation in a production system and select the Hardware components required for Automation
Establish communication network by using industry Standard protocol (PLC).
