The laboratory facilities are extensively utilized by students across various academic levels and institutions. Primarily, it caters to the needs of Fourth Semester diploma students, offering them hands-on experience and practical knowledge as part of their curriculum. Additionally, Fifth Semester students benefit from the lab by applying advanced concepts and techniques relevant to their studies. Furthermore, the laboratory serves as a valuable resource for students from nearby polytechnic institutions, fostering collaborative learning and providing them access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology. This diverse utilization highlights the lab's role as a central hub for technical education and skill development. 

The laboratory is equipped with advanced facilities to support practical learning and training in industrial automation. Key equipment and resources include:

1. PLC Workstations: 10 dedicated Allen Bradley Micro 820 PLC workstations for programming and testing automation systems.

2. PLC Pneumatic Trainer: 1 trainer for hands-on practice with pneumatic systems integrated with Allen Bradley Micro 850 PLC control.

3. Conveyor Systems:

   • Reconfigurable Servo-Motor Driven Conveyor: 1 unit for precise motion control applications with Pneumatic pick and place attachment

   • Reconfigurable Gear Motor Driven Conveyor: 1 unit for flexible configuration and training purposes.- Stamping, Sorting, Bottle Filling

   • Stepper Motor Driven Conveyor with Sorting and Color Sensing: A system designed for material handling and sorting applications.

4. Mimic Panels: Realistic simulation models for training, including:

   • Toll Gate System

   • Water Level Indicator (Level Gauge)

   • Traffic Light System

   • Automatic Door Open/Close Mechanism

   • Drilling Machine Operation

   • Chemical Plant Model

   • Stepper Motor Driven Timing Belt Conveyors

   • Flat belt Conveyors

5. Software - CCW, Factory Talk View (HMI)
