Pink Drink: Mix cranberry juice with lemonade.
Worms in Sunglasses: Use a dab of peanut butter to stick chocolate chips onto small pretzel logs.
Pinwheel Sandwiches: Cut the crusts off sliced bread. Spread with creamy filling like peanut butter and roll up! The rolls can be cut into slices like a jelly roll cake.
Picture Sandwiches: Spread each slice of bread with butter. Use cold meats, salad stuff, peanuts, and slices of egg to make funny faces!
Ants on a Log: Mix three tablespoons of peanut butter with three tablespoons of cream cheese. Use this to fill the hollow of some sticks of celery. Dot with raisins.
Orange Gelatin: Cut six oranges in half and carefully scoop out the flesh. Squeeze out as much juice as you can into a large measuring cup. Fill the measuring cup with water to make one pint of liquid. Use boiling water to melt a packet of orange gelatin. Add the orange water. Pour into each orange half and allow to set in refrigerator. Serve by cutting into quarters after Jello is set.
Crunchy Cakes: Break a big bar of chocolate into squares. Put in a heatproof bowl and place in a pan of simmering shallow water to melt the chocolate. Stir in crunchy cereal and raisins. Spoon the mixture into cupcake liners. Let them cool. Great with ice cream!

Homemade Ice Cream What you’ll need:
Two different size plastic bags with zipper-type closure
1 pint Half and Half or light cream
½ cup sugar
½ cup crushed frozen berries
6 to 7 cups crushed ice
¾ cup rock salt
Combine Half and Half, sugar, and berries in small plastic bag and mix well. Close bag securely. In the bottom of the larger bag, place a thin layer of crushed ice. Put the smaller bag inside the larger bag. Pack the area between the two bags with crushed ice and rock salt. (Use approximately 2 tablespoons of rock salt for every 1 cup of crushed ice.) Securely close the larger bag.
Shake the bag vigorously for about 10-15 minutes.
After shaking, remove the small bag and open it carefully. If the ice cream is still too soft, place small bag back into larger bag and add more crushed ice and rock salt. Shake for a few more minutes or until ice cream is firm. For vanilla flavored recipe, replace crushed frozen berries with 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Coolers Here is an idea for staying cool when it is hot outside! You’ll need fruit juice, empty yogurt containers and Popsicle sticks.
Pour the fruit juice into the yogurt containers and put into freezer.
When the juice starts to freeze push a Popsicle stick into the middle of the container.
Return to the freezer until frozen.
Then pull them out and enjoy!
